  1. Main data of the different cohorts are summarized: Cohort (I) for micro-dissection of glomerular substructures, cohort (II) for comparing different glomeruli counts and for reference transcript analysis. Cohort (I) comprised of nine patients with non-glomerular diseases, and cohort (II) of fifteen patients (seven native and eight transplant biopsies) randomly selected by a high number of glomeruli per biopsy. Two patients were on dialysis and no data for proteinuria and hematuria were available. There was a significant difference for hypertension between cohort I and II (p = 0.0234; Mann–Whitney U test). Data are given as median (25th/75th percentiles) or absolute values
